Here Comes The Sun

Recently I won a giveaway on Here Comes The Sun blog run by the beautiful Amanda for these Dark Havana Ray-Bans. I was really excited when I won as I'd entered on a complete whim. I have a pair of the Ray-Ban Wayfarers in black which I have had for four years now but I think I actually prefer this shape. The're a lot lighter which makes them very comfortable. The glass is less tinted than what I would usually choose (mainly because I like to spy on people through my sunglasses) but it suits the feminine shape. They come with a brown leather case and a glass cleaner which is helpful as I've lost my other one. I'm so excited for warmer weather now eeek.

Wish List 004

001. Topshop contrast collar shift dress - I have some interviews coming up for University and I have no idea what to wear seeing as I'm applying for an Art and Fashion course so wearing a suit dosn't really apply. This dress is so cute but still smart and after seeing it on Lucy from Fine and Bambi I fell in love.

002. Essie Butler Please - I've noticed that I don't have many brightly coloured nail varnishes and with the warmer weather creeping ever closer I feel its about time I should get some.  Not to mention how sassy the name of this polish is, who could say no?

003. Ebay 'Alexa' bag - I love the Alexa bag and it is my dream to one day own a real Mulberry one. For now however this patent knock off could fill the gap in my heart.

Finally the weekend is here, I've been so stressed because both my Textile and Fine Art projects were due in this week so I hardly got any sleep in a desperate attempt to finish them. Not to mention the two 15 hour exams. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I spent in Textiles making a latex dress inspired by oil spills (its not as odd as it sounds but I didn't manage to get a picture of it) then Thursday and Friday were in Fine Art where I'm doing a Bridget Riley/Yayoi Kusama/Chuck Close inspired painting. I still have 5 hours to go in art but here's how is looking:

Nest week I have a Literature exam on Monday and I finish my Art on Wednesday so its yet another busy week for me. To celebrate a weekend of freedom my friends and I are visiting the pub tonight but for now I'm tidying my room and listening to Xfm (standard).
